Connecting and using Philips Hue with Viva

Your Viva system can connect to and control a Philips Hue bridge over a local connection as long as both hubs are on the same network. 

You do not need to set up a Hue account or use the Hue mobile app. Simply connect the Hue Bridge to your wifi router, then follow the installation process in the Viva app to connect it, pressing the centre button on the Hue bridge when the Viva app requests it. 

By connecting to a Phillips Hue bridge, Viva can control up to 50 Hue bulbs. The Hue Bridge connects to bulbs using ZigBee Light Link on the 2400–2483.5 MHz frequency band.
