Once connected to the mobile app for the first time, the customer will be prompted to install the gateway. This requires to create a virtual link between the account and the gateway. There are two methods to do that: by scanning the QR code in the bottom of the gateway or by entering manually the MAC address written in the bottom of the gateway. 

We recommend to use the QR method as it is the easiest and also prevents spelling errors with the MAC address.


If the error message "Could not store address on gateway. Please try again." is displayed, this means that the gateway has been blacklisted and needs to be re-authorized by a support agent.
