The smart thermostat supported by Viva is supplied by Thermo-Floor (Heatit). Heatit is designed for controlling electrical heating cables and electrical radiators/convectors. The thermostat uses an external temperature sensor. After you have set the temperature, the thermostat will use a hysteresis to regulate the temperature. The hysteresis is adjustable.
The Heatit reports temperature to the gateway under the following conditions:
- when temperature changes by 0.5°C
- every 10 minutes
The Heatit comes with it's own installation manual where inclusion/exclusion and factory reset for your specific firmware is explained.
