You can enable your smart light to turn on even if household is sleeping. If there is a movement detected in the room, the light will turn on and will stay on until movement timeout period expires.
You can set brightness and color settings the light should turn on with at night (note that light must support it). Night time settings is applied only when light is automatically turned on due to movement at night. Turning light manually from the app for example, will apply day time settings.
