The mains-powered Z-Wave extender increases the range of the smart home network, letting users control devices in the far reaches of their homes.
Installation of an extender is done by selecting Devices from the menu in the Viva app, clicking Install new... and selecting the Siren.
Once a device is installed, it can be deleted by selecting the correct siren from the list under Devices, selecting Delete and following the instructions.
If a devices is unresponsive, or the gateway is no longer available, the device can be factory reset using the following process:
- Press and hold button for 20 seconds
- The green LED will be solid for 2 seconds and then remain the colourful gradient status to confirm factory reset
